Websites for moving companies
With a move, the price depends on things customers don’t usually mention when they call: the fourth-floor walk-up, the street with no parking, the wardrobe that has to come apart. A moving company’s website has to ask for them, so the quote doesn’t change on moving day.
What happens before they call
They ask for a price without the details
“How much to move a two-bedroom apartment?” has no answer. Without floors, distance and volume, you either guess or spend half an hour on the phone.
They have a date and they’re in a hurry
People looking for movers usually have the day picked already. They want to know fast whether you’re available, and they go with the first company that confirms.
They’re worried something will get broken
They want specifics: how each piece of furniture is packed, who takes it apart and puts it back together, what coverage there is and what happens if something arrives damaged.
The key piece: a quote tool that asks what matters
Instead of a “tell us about your move” form, the website asks step by step: from where to where, what kind of home, which floor and whether there’s an elevator, whether furniture needs assembling or anything needs storing, and for what date. With that, it gives a price range.
The answers reach you organized, by WhatsApp. You can confirm the date or suggest a walkthrough already knowing what needs moving.
The rates by distance, floor and service are set with you, based on your own pricing.
What the website includes
- Moving quote
- Distance, access, services and date, using your rates.
- A page per service
- Homes, offices and small moves, each with what’s included and what isn’t.

- If you offer it: unit sizes, access and how long, which is what people ask.

Questions from moving companies
What if the customer answers wrong?
It happens. That’s why the result is a range, and you confirm it when you talk to them or see the place. Even so, you start out knowing the floor, the elevator and the distance, which is what moves the price most.
I do long-distance moves too. Does it work for those?
Yes. The quote takes distance into account, and if past a certain point you’d rather price the job yourself, the website says so and still collects the details.
Many of my customers don’t speak English.
Then the website comes in their language too. Each language gets its own address, so Google shows it to people searching in that language.
